Perhaps one of the most familiar character actors in the business, the late Parley Baer began in TV's black and white days. He was a regular on the Ozzie & Harriet Show (the neighbor) and later on the Andy Griffith Show (the mayor). This photo was taken on the set of a commercial. For 20 years he was also the voice of "Ernie Keebler," the head Keebler elf.
